Recently I started keeping a sketch diary filled with paintings that I usually finish at the dinner table, in a 3 1/2 by 5 inch notebook. For me it’s a form of daily practice. The idea is to create a complete piece quickly and not tinker with the details too much. I realized I’d learn a lot faster if I were able to share my work with friends and get feedback.
